Looking back at 2013...

Hello Beautiful People!
Can you believe it's the last day of the year 2013?  It feels so surreal that in a few hours this year will be over and a New Year starts. I am just dropping by to share some of my favorite outfits of the year.
Looking back at this outfits, I realized I am so in love with prints and colors...lol. I try at all times to have fun with my outfits and fashion in general. Also, I am not scared of taking fashion risks (Well...maybe Camouflage, I don't know it's just not my style so I don't think I am ever gonna try it). My personal style is constantly evolving but as of now I would my style is very feminine, trendy and definitely classy. My favorite things to wear nowadays are dresses and full midi skirts even though the weather is cold...ha ha. This year was a great year but there were some highs and lows definitely. I rarely share intimate details about my life on the blog but I faced some serious challenges during these last months in this year. Thank God for his grace and love for me, It all worked out. The challenges I was facing just turned around to be blessings for me.
OMG! The year 2014 is gonna be one of the best years of my life, like I can already feel it. I just have so many exciting things coming up for me and I cannot wait to share it all with you. Seriously you my readers are like a family to me. I just thank you all for all the love and support you have showed me since starting this blog. I really appreciate that you take time out of your precious time to check out this little space of mine. I cannot thank you enough for checking out my posts and leaving those sweet comments. New Year's Eve Outfit Idea...

How are you all doing? I am doing great, I had a wonderful weekend relaxing, going to church and then attending a friend's birthday celebration afterwards. Since the year 2013 ends in less than 48 hours, I wanted  to share my last outfit of the year which is also a New Year's Eve Outfit Idea. When I think of a NYE outfit, the first thing that come to my mind is sequins and metallics, I decided to incorporate both in this outfit. I started with a basic little black dress (LBD) with a jacquard texture and bow metallic silver belt. I layered a sequinned cardigan on top and added a statement necklace. I completed the look with a clutch and metallic silver pumps. Voila! A perfect outfit for a NYE party or get together.
P.S. Both the dress and cardigan are on sale for $15 and $10 respectively on the H&M website. I picked up the dress cos it was the perfect LBD and the fit is great. The cardigan was just too cute to pass for that price.
Thank you so much for stopping by, see you tomorrow with a recap of my favorite outfits of 2013...:)

I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today, I am sharing what I wore for Christmas. Since I went to a church service in the morning, I wanted wear something formal yet very chic. I got this dress way back in September on the H&M website, it was under the premium quality products which meant it's kinda pricey but the quality is superb. I love the length, skater style and floral jacquard material. I layered a crisp white shirt underneath for some warmth, and accessorized with a statement lucite necklace, lucite clutch and cognac pumps.  I kept my makeup pretty simple with a nude shimmery lipstick. I can't wait to style this dress for another occasion, maybe Valentine's day...ha ha.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday evening...:)
