How are you all doing? I had a wonderful weekend, spent the weekend doing assignments, working and I went to the mall with my mom for some spring shopping. One of my favorite trends nowadays is Mixing Prints. It's just so fun to coordinate and style contrasting prints to form a cohesive outfit. Personally, I feel like it's all about experimenting with the prints and seeing what works for you. This outfit is a subtle way of trying out the trend. I wore this outfit to church last Sunday (St. Patrick's day). I wanted to add a hint of green to my outfit so I decided to wear this Duro Olowu for JcPenney shirt, luckily it had mixed prints (vertical stripes and paisley prints). I paired it with a simple black pencil skirt with a zip detail at the back and completed my outfit with printed pumps, red blazer and my current favorite bag from Justfab. I am so looking forward to incorporating mixing of prints into my Spring/Summer outfits, stay tuned...:)
Have you ever tried mixing prints? What are your thoughts on this trend?
