This time around, we are showing how to style one of the biggest and my personal favorite trend of Spring/Summer 2013: Black and White. My Day Outfit
My day outfit is fun, girl and absolutely perfect for a spring/summer day. Don't be afraid to play with prints and silhouettes. Mixing prints takes a regular outfit to the next level whether it's strips & polka dots or floral & stripes, just have fun with it. I decided to pair star prints and houndstooth together. It's kinda unexpected but the black and white colors plus the skater silhouette make it cohesive and chic.

Night Outfit
My night outfit comprises of a fitted printed ankle pants with a tuxedo style peplum shirt. I added a pop of color with a neon belt and clutch and completed the look with a pair of white pumps. Adding pop of colors to a black and white outfit totally enhances the monochrome look.

We hope you have a learned a thing or two from our styling of the classic Black and White. I absolutely adore Katy's looks, notice we are both carrying white purses for our day looks and we added a pop of color to our night looks (so not planned).
