Happy Friday and Cheers to the Weekend!
How was are you all doing? I started off my week relaxing and catching up on missed tv shows but in a matter of days I got super busy with work. So I did not have time to take ootd pictures, even though I have about 3 outfits I have already worn, the pictures just need to be taken asap. You know sometimes I wish I had like a go-to photographer, maybe a boyfriend/husband...lol who just takes my outfit pictures as soon I wear them...Ha ha don't mind my corny self. Anyways, I wanted share a couple of outfit ideas for holiday parties or events for this Christmas/New Year. Personally, when I think of holiday parties' outfits, I immediately gravitate towards the color red, metallics, sequins and feminine pieces.

Outfit 1: This outfit is the perfect mix of feminine and chicness, and can be worn to several events from Office Christmas parties to Family dinners. Add a cropped sweater on top of a metallic full skirt, complete the look with a bold clutch and lips with a pair of strappy sandals.
Outfit 2: This outfit is the ultimate date night look perfect for the holiday season. If I had a significant other (what's with the jabbing of my single life in this post? lol), I would totally rock this outfit on a date night during the holiday season. It's must for any fashionista to have a LBD (Little Black Dress) in their closet. Instead of a LBD, try a fitted midi dress with lace details on the sleeves and neckline. Accessorize with a sexy pair of red pumps, statement clutch but keep the makeup simple with a nude lippie.
Outfit 3: This outfit is very girly yet edgy. I love the juxtaposition of the flowy midi skirt with a leather peplum top. This look can be worn to a fashion related event/holiday party or even to a holiday themed night out with your girlfriends. Styling a flowy midi skirt with a leather peplum top is so on trend, but for extra warmth, try layering a plaid or printed shirt underneath the peplum top. Don't forget to accessorize with sky-scrapper pumps, bold red lips and a fun studded clutch.
Outfit 4: This is more of a Christmas service or formal outfit, in fact what I plan on wearing to my Christmas Day service is similar to this outfit. It has become a tradition for me to wear the color red on every Christmas Day, I found the perfect red skater dress and I am so looking forward to styling it. For this look try layering a crisp white shirt under a red strapless or sleeveless lace/embellished dress. Complete the look with nude tights, nude pumps and add touches of sparkle with the jewelry.
Outfit 5: For a New Year's Eve party, instead of the typical sequinned dress, try a pair of sequinned pants for a more dramatic look. Style the pants with a white cami and add a fitted black blazer with nice details on top. Complete the look with a pair of metallic heels, statement necklace and clutch.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have been inspired with some of the outfits above. Remember to shop your closet first before going out to buy new pieces cos you never know what is hidden that overflowing closet. I will be rocking some outfits similar to the ones I have created in upcoming posts...:)
Have a wonderful weekend!
