How are you all doing? I am doing great, I am done with all of my finals and by the special grace of God, this semester is officially over for me. I am super duper excited for the next upcoming months, so many changes coming my way and I cannot wait to move on to the next phase of my life. On another note, I was just chilling on my phone around midnight this morning when one of my favorite artist, Beyonce (Queen Bey) released her fifth studio album. What makes this self-titled album very unique is the fact that it's a visual album, every song comes with its own music video. As a huge fan, I immediately bought it and spent all night listening to the music and watching all the music videos. There are so many great songs on this album and the videos are daring, spunky and so Beyonce. My favorite songs so far are "Pretty Hurts", "Blow", "Partition", "Drunk in Love", "XO" , "Blue" and "Flawless" which features a popular Nigerian author (Chimamanda Adiche). Seriously I will recommend this album to anyone, the songs are uplifting, inspiring and definitely empowers women. Have you guys listened to new album, what are your thoughts?
For this outfit post, I am linking up with Eboni from The Fashionista Next Door for her weekly Style Me Friday challenge. This week's challenge was to style Chambray (Denim) Shirts. Personally, chambray/denim shirts have become a classic in my closet. I have so many shades and I love that they go with anything from printed to colored bottoms. I paired this Chambray shirt with a pair of plaid pants, plaids are so trending for this season. I completed the outfit with a pair of colorblocked pumps and a classic trench coat...:)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
very chic :)
