How are you darlings doing? Hope you are having a great week. My week is going great, I have been having exams since Tuesday and I still have a couple more within the next week. The semester is gradually passing by and I am eagerly waiting till the end. As my personal style evolves and the next chapter of my life is unraveling, my closet is also evolving. Nowadays the pieces that I gravitate towards are those that are more classic and will last me for many more years. I am now picking quality over quantity which I never used to do before. I would rather buy a great piece with impeccable quality from for example ASOS than get a lot of pieces from Forever 21. Don't get me wrong, I still love Forever 21 but we are know that their quality is not the best and their pieces only last after a few washes. I used shop at Forever 21 like every month and now I have only shopped there once in the last 3 months. I think stores like Forever 21 are great for those basics and trendy items that you don't wanna spend a lot of money on but if you are trying to invest in classic pieces, Forever 21 is not the place for you. Try H&M, ASOS, Zara, Macys to mention but a few, their quality is way better and budget friendly. I don't know why I am sharing this with y'all but I just feel like you are all with me on this fashion journey and I love to share tips and discoveries I have made while growing into my fashion and personal style.
On to this outfit, a great suit is definitely an investment to any working class lady but sometimes those black and brown suits can be a tad bit boring, lol. That where a printed suit comes in especially in prints that are muted and not over the top like this one from H&M. I actually got the blazer early Fall last year and then while shopping last month I found the pants on the clearance rack in my size so I had to grab it. Not only will these pieces work together but they are versatile and can be styled separately. For this look I paired them together and added a white turtleneck top underneath. I added this Lucite belt (which is my current favorite and goes with everything) on top and accessorized with a Lucite clutch and silver pumps.
Eyes Shadow: Naked 2 Palette
Lipstick: MAC "Touch"
Thank you so much for stopping, it really makes my day. Have a blessed day!
