Hope you had a restful weekend. I tried to but fail miserably because my body system had gotten used to doing allnighters these past couple of weeks. I literally would go to bed before 12 and will be awake till 3am trying to fall asleep. I can't sleep for more than 4 hours which makes me grouchy during the day. I don't even know what to do get some sleep, maybe some sleeping pills...:( Anyways enough ranting about my lack of sleep...LOL. Y'all probably know about my love for midi skirts by now, when I think of what to wear nowadays the first thing that comes to my mind is a full midi skirt. They are gradually becoming a classic in my closet, since my personal style is somewhat conservative they are just perfect for me. For this look, I paired a textured full midi skirt with a baggy striped crop top and accessorized with a gold statement necklace and cobalt blue sandals. I love the cutouts detail of these sandals that I had to pick up the black pair as well. I added a bold red lipstick to accentuate the classic feel of this outfit.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!

MAC "Touch" Lipstick
Hope you had a lovely week. Mine was delightfully busy but I am glad it's over. One of the most asked questions I get from my blog emails is where do I get my ankara pieces from, in most cases my mom's seamstress makes them for me from Nigeria. Recently, I stumbled on a shop on etsy called THEAFRICANSHOP that sells ankara pieces for really affordable price. I will be doing a collaboration with the store and will do a full review post soon. But in the mean time, feel free to check out the beautiful pieces they sell and I promise you will love it. On to my outfit, the peplum skirt is one of their gorgeous pieces and I wore it on Easter Sunday to church. I simply paired it with a black bow tie blouse and completeld the look with a pair of colorblocked sandals from Justfab. I cannot wait to style it in many more ways...:)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

School Style: Navy & Mustard...

Forever 21 Skinny Belt (similar HERE)
H&M Ballet Flats (similar HERE)
MAC "Touch" Nude Lipstick (HERE)
How are you all doing? I am finally done with my finals and back with a new post. As I am typing this, I can barely keep my eyes open since I have been running on about 8 hours of sleep for the past 3 days. All I wanna do now is sleep for the next 24 hours...ha ha. Anyways, I wanted to share a school style post of what I wore last week when it was warmer outside. I paired a navy blue wiggle dress with a pair of cognac flats and completed the look with a skinny mustard colored belt. I will admit, the look is a bit polished for school but I was too darn excited to finally wear any else but jeans. I am off to spend some time with my bed, talk to y'all later.
Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week...:)
