Happy New Week Lovelies!

How was your weekend? I hope you had a nice one. I spent mine mostly working and spending time with my mom since she was out of the country for a couple of weeks. I did not get any sewing done at all, and I have a lot of sewing projects to do. Anyways, on to today's outfit post. My favorite TV Scandal has a limited edition collection based on the style of the main character Olivia, the collection is exclusively sold at The Limited HERE. I only wanted one thing from the collection which is this beautiful coat check trench coat with cape detail on the shoulders. Honestly it was a bit pricey and at first I was not willing to spend that much on a coat but during Black Friday sales it was 50% off so I snagged it. I got a size medium and it's kinda big on me but I love it regardless. I tried some of the pieces from the collection and the quality of each item is so impeccable, you can tell from feeling the materials that they would last you for a long time. This coat was surprisingly very heavy weight and warm which mean I can rock it on those cold snowy days. I wore it for church last Sunday and got tons of compliments on it. In styling it, I made it the statement piece and paired it a printed blouse with a pair of black pumps and completed the look with black strappy pumps and a bold red lips.
