Happy New Year 2015! I hope you have been enjoying this new year. I sure am and I am so excited about what this new year will bring. Honestly I am not a New Year's resolution kinda person, I would rather set small realistic goals for myself. Some of my goals for this year is to of course continue blogging consistently, improve in my sewing skills and then try to sew for other people. I don't know why I am so terrified to sew other people, I think it's because I am a bit of a perfectionist. When I sew for myself, I have to adjust and adjust it until it fits me perfectly so I feel like if I sew for others it won't fit them well. But I made a maxi skirt for a friend of mine and it fits her perfectly so I know I can do it, I just have to let go of my fears and do it. Hopefully before the year is over I can feel more comfortable making clothes for others. Anyways, I thought I should start of the year 2015 with one of my favorite full midi skirts in Ankara mixed prints. I actually styled it last Summer HERE and now I wore it to church on the last Sunday of the year and then to brunch with my friends afterwards. I paired the skirt with a chambray shirt (which kinda serves as a neutral and goes with everything), statement necklace and a pair of bold colored pumps. I look forward to showing you all what I have in stock for this year on my blog so stay tuned for more fashion forward outfits and DIY posts...:)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
