How are you all doing? I hope you had a restful weekend. It's officially summer and I couldn't be more excited for what this new season will bring in terms of fashion and sewing. I am just dropping by to share this DIY spring/summer jacket I made a while ago. I wore it to church for Thanksgiving Sunday services. I wanted the jacket to the focus and statement piece therefore I paired it with all black. For those that sew, I have a sewing pattern review below...:)
Pattern Review: Vogue 9078
Pattern Description: Loose-fitting, unlined, double-breasted jacket has collar variations, front and back tucks, shaped front hemline and snap closing.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a size 6-14 and I cut a size 10.
Fabric Used: Vlisco Voila for You Fabric (similar HERE)

ReplyDeleteGirlfriend, let's talk business! When do I get my own set of custom African attire? You've been torturing me with all you lovely pieces and I'm tired of staying quite :) [joking, not joking]. You've come a long way with your styles and techniques and I'm quite impressed!!
