How are you all doing? I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today's post features my latest DIY creation that I wore to church 2 Sundays ago. It's a jumpsuit with a really nice back that I made using this beautifully printed ankara fabric. I really love the way it turned out and it's definitely on my list of favorite DIY pieces that I have ever mad. I kept the styling simple by pairing it with gold and purple accessories. What do you guys think of the jumpsuit? For those that sew, I have a pattern review below...:)
Pattern Review: Simplicity 1158
Pattern Description: Project Runway jumpsuit pattern includes two different bodices, long jumpsuit with slim or full leg, and short jumpsuit. V-neck back ties at neck. Belt also included.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a (4-12) and I cut a size 12.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a (4-12) and I cut a size 12.
Fabric Used: Ankara 100% Wax Cotton Fabric
Did it look like the photo on the pattern envelope once you are done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love that you can mix and match different pieces of the pattern to create different looks. I really like the back detail and that it has pockets, I am such a sucker for any thing that has pockets.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? None, I cut it straight out of the envelope and it fits me perfectly.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a nice week!
Terrific look and style, nice.
