Pattern Review: Simplicity 1099
Pattern Description: Inspired by Project Runway two piece dress pattern is great for special occasions. Pattern includes full maxi or knee length skirt with pockets, slim skirt with slit, loose or fitted crop top & top with contrast band.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a size 12-20 and I cut a size 14.
Fabric Used: Vlisco Voila For You 100% Cotton Fabric (different color HERE)
Did it look like the photo on the pattern envelope once you are done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, super easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love every thing about this pattern and the variations of pieces it offers.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? Nothing really, I attached the waistband first before installing the invisible zipper unlike the instructions that says to install the invisible zipper first before attaching the waistband and then add a hook and eye. I did my way and used just the invisible zipper.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and Yes! I love it so much that I want in many colors and prints.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
