How are you doing? I hope you had a restful weekend, mine was pretty busy with lots of sewing projects. Today's post features my latest DIY pieces: a foldover clutch and a headband. After watching this Mimi G.'s tutorial HERE, I knew I had to try making a foldover clutch. I used a remnant vlisco fabric from this skirt HERE and it was super quick to make. I really love the way it turned out and will definitely be making more of it. And since I wear a lot of headbands I made one as well to match using THIS simplicity pattern. One important thing I have learned on my sewing journey is that it's very important to tryout new things and step out of your comfort zone and I did those by making these DIY accessories. For the styling, I paired the bold printed accessories with a black and white look and added a bold colored blazer for a pop of color. Looking forward to making and sharing more DIY accessories with you all...)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
