My DIY Vacation Style: Off-Shoulder Romper + Simplicity 8124 Pattern Review

Cheers to the Weekend Lovelies!

Off Shoulder Romper (I made)
Charlotte Russe Fringe Sandals (HERE)
Forever 21 Skinny Belt (super old)
Coloupop "Silhouette" Ultra Matte Lipstick
How are you all doing? I hope you all had a wonderful week. Mine was filled with work, getting over my jet lag and off course adjusting my body back to this time zone. Thank God, it's the weekend I am hoping that I feel 100% before work starts again next week. Today's post features another diy outfit (an off-shoulder romper) I made for my vacation. I simply styled it with neutral cognac accessories and a bold red lips. This pictures were taken around the stunning Tower Bridge area, will talk more about it in my London Travel Diary so definitely stay tuned for that...:)
For those that sew, I have a pattern review below for the romper.
Pattern Review: Simplicity 8124
Pattern Description: Misses' peasant style mini dress, and top by Cynthia Rowley have elastic neckline and sleeve band; romper has additional elastic waist for a cool effortless look.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a size XS-XL, I cut a size S.
Fabric Used: Lime Gingham/Floral Fabric from
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love that it's really easy to make, didn't like all the elastic insertions, kinda tedious in my opinion.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? Only alterations I made was to add about 4 inches to the length of the romper.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes & Yes! Already made the dress version and I wore it as well during my vacation.
Thank you much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
