How are you all doing? Just dropping by real quick to share this fun outfit featuring a double flounce hem printed skirt I made a while ago. I wore it to church some weeks back, I paired the skirt with a white blouse and a black blazer. I completed the look with black and gold accessories. I think there's something preppy chic about this look with my prescription glasses and my lil Off to study some more, I have got a busy week ahead so talk to you later...:)
P.S: For those that sew, I have a pattern review for the skirt below.
Pattern Review: McCalls 7287
Pattern Description: Semi-fitted skirts have waistband, flounce variations, narrow hem, and back zipper. I made view F.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a size 6-14 and I cut a size 14.
Fabric Used: Stretch Poplin Floral Fabric (old, from my stash).
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the different style variations the pattern offers.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes & Yes, I love the short flirty flounce skirt style plus it was super easy to make.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
