How are you all doing? Can you believe it's already the 4th month of the year? Since it's also the spring season, we have had some good warm weather days with 75 degrees. To me, a nice warm weather calls for a dress and open-toe sandals...lol. Ever since I started sewing, I really hesitate to buy dresses because if get the chance and find the right pattern I can make any dress that I want, so why buy one. When I saw this ASOS denim dress last spring, I wanted to recreate it but I didn't get the chance nor find the right sewing pattern to make it. I totally even forgot about it until I was browsing the ASOS end of summer sale and found it on sale so I snagged it up. This multicolored sandals as well, when it first came out it was about $90 and as cute as I thought it was I was never gonna that price for it. But it was on sale during the zara sale and if I can remember I paid less than $30 dollars for it...Winning! One of the things that I learned from my mum that would always stick with me is to always shop for stuff at the end of the season when it's on sale/clearance. For example, I tend to buy new winter coats around this time (spring) when the stores are clearing out their winter stuff for spring new merchandise and I tend to buy summer items around the fall season. In styling this dress while on spring break, I simply paired it with the multi-colored sandals and a colorful dangly and tiered balls earrings for spending a day out with my mum. I am really excited for this month (p.s: it's my birthday month) and the spring season, I can't wait to share some DIYs and fun spring outfits with you all...:)
