Hello Beautiful People!
Pink Flutter Sleeves Sheath Dress (I made)
Fabric: HERE & Pattern: Simplicity 8292
BCBG Brown/Nude Pumps (old)
Colourpop "Tulle" Ultra Matte Lipstick
How are you all doing? I hope your week is going great. Mine is going great as well but I am literally counting down till the weekend. Today's post features one of my favorite dress I have made till date. I love the simple sheath silhouette with the fun flared sleeves detail. I made it with the yummiest suiting fabric ever! I snagged the fabric when it was only $1.90 on sale at Fashion Fabrics Club (one of my go-to online fabric store). The quality of their fabric is impeccable plus they always have specific types of fabrics on sale every couple of weeks. I wore this to church and brunch on Mother's day. I simply paired it with a pair of nude pumps since I wanted the dress to stand out. Let me know, what do you think of my bold and fun sheath dress?
P.S: For those that sew, I have a pattern review below...:)
Pattern Review: Simplicity 8292
Pattern Description: Dress features 3 different sleeve options, princess seams, invisible back zipper, lined bodice and your choice of either long flare or pencil cut each in two lengths.
Pattern Sizing:It came in a size 14-22 and I cut a size 16
Fabric Used: Pink Suiting Fabric from Fashion Fabrics Club
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, super easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really like the flared sleeves plus the various views the pattern offers.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? Only modification I made was to adjust for my petite height, luckily the pattern made it easy to do. I had to do was to join the lines and put a tape over it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes & Yes! I am definitely making it in a black suiting fabric and maybe a printed one later.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!
Oh my goodness it is beautiful and the fit is superb.

I love it. All of your work is stunning. You are going to be the best dressed pharmacist around. Hopefully, you won't have to wear a lab coat.
