Printed Cotton Voile Bow Blouse (I made)

Victoria Beckham for Target High Waisted Pants (sold-out)
Pink Wood Heel Wedges (super old)
How are you all doing? I hope you are enjoying the start of this new fall season. Today's post features a blouse that I made a couple of months ago with a yummy cotton voile fabric I have had in my fabric stash for over 2 years. I got the fabric from an old collection that Vlisco used to carry some years back. I have literally been saving it to make a nice blouse. I decided on this sewing pattern because I really love blouses with bow tie details. I paired the blouse with a pair of hot pint high waisted pink pants from the Victoria Beckham collection that launched at Target earlier this year. I am looking forward to sewing and adding some separates like this into my fall wardrobe when I get the chance in between school...lol. For those that sew, I have a pattern review below...:)
Here is the blouse on my dressform, love the button I chose for the back closure.
Pattern Review: Simplicity 8215
Pattern Description: Misses pull-over blouse has back neck button closure with bow or collar neckline and a gathered yoke for a feminine shape. Pattern has sleeve, trim and contrast fabric variations.
Pattern Sizing: It came in a size 12 -20 and I cut a size 14.

Fabric Used: A printed cotton voile from an old Voila for You by Vlisco collection
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes super easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the bow detail since it's an unconventional version of the style. It has buttons attached to the back side of the bows ties so one can easily put on the blouse.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? None, made it straight out the envelope but I made version E with sleeves D.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes & Yes, it's a pretty easy blouse to make and I would definitely recommend it.
