Happy Sunday Lovelies!
Caramel Brown Suit: NY & Company
Sewing Heals T-shirt: HERE
Aldo Brown Pumps HERE
How are you all doing? I am doing great, enjoying my much needed weekend at home and of course spending some time sewing. I haven't done a personal style post in a while and since I have not made anything in a month, I thought I would share what I wore to church today. I love a good suit, check out the one I made last christmas HERE. Suits are so classic yet can be dressed up and down, I also love that you can separate the pieces and style them with other clothing item in your closet.
I recently got this "Madie" caramel brown colored suit from my go-to store for RTW clothes: New York & Company. I absolutely love this shade of brown plus it's so perfect for this fall season. The pants are high waisted with a tapered ankle length and waist tie detail plus they are stretchy. The blazer has an opened front and it is fully lined as well. See more colors/prints of the Madie suit HERE.
For sizing reference, I am currently between a US size 4/6 and I got the blazer in a size small and the pants in a size 4 and they both fit perfectly.
This "Sewing Heals" t-shirt was created by Tabitha Sewer to help raise awareness on mental health and how people in the sewing community use sewing as an outlet to deal with mental health conditions. Check out the instagram hashtag to read about the amazing stories of how sewing is healing our community. A portion of the sales from the t-shirts will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
For stying the suit, I wanted to stick to the neutral hues by pairing it with a simple t-shirt and a pair of nude brown heels.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed day.
Nice look!
