Happy New Month Lovelies!

Animal Print Sleeveless Jacket (I made)
Fabric: Cotton Twill (similar HERE and HERE)
Pattern: McCalls 7912
Zara Black Dress (super old)
Justfab Lux Suede Booties (old)
How are you all doing? For the month of February, I guest hosted @Sewyourview's month sewalong and we made McCalls 7912. The pattern is a loose-fitting jacket and vest are unlined with dropped shoulder, tie belt with thread carriers, and collar, length and sleeve variations.
I made the sleeveless version view B using a cotton twill fabric I got from Fashion Fabrics Club back in 2017. I cut a size small and did not make any style or fit modifications. I did try something new by finishing the seams with Hong kong finishes. I documented all my BTS process when I took over @Sewyourview's page this past weekend, you can catch up under the "Takeover" highlights on their page.
I absolutely love how my vest turned out, the bold animal print adds the perfect "oomph" needed to make a bold statement. I already have a purple colored one cut out and I am so looking forward to making it.
For styling I paired it with a black long sleeves midi dress and completed the look with a pair of booties.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
