It's my birthday today and I thank God for blessing me with another year on this earth. I always use my birthday as a day to reflect on the previous year. This past year has been pretty challenging to say the least, from experiencing loss, heartbreak, school challenges to finally getting to point that I am today. I am grateful to have learned from my mistakes and to have the will to constantly work on myself. One of my friends joked that I am 4 years away from turning 30, while the thought of that scares me I am actually proud of the woman I am becoming...:) 

I thought I would share a little recap of what's been going with me lately

Buying -  Fabrics and shoes (both of which I don't need anymore of but who cares...ha ha)

Cooking - More LIN food cos I need to lose the l0lbs I have gained since I started stress eating. 

Dreaming - Of getting a job and finally start making some money

Eating - Lots of mangos, cos I am totally obsessed with them.

Feeling - Super emotional about finishing my pharmacy school career.

Grateful - For the opportunity to do pattern reviews for some of my favorite pattern companies, stay tuned!

Hating - The amount of violence and tragedy going in this world.

Hoping - That I can go on a small vacation before I start working. 

Drinking: Water, water, water, I am trying to stay away from the sugary stuff but Starbuck lattes still tempts me once in a while.

Laughing - At silly memes and videos on IG.

Loving - Spending time with KO, he brings me so much joy. 

Planning - An awesome bridal shower for my friend Hannah. 

Reading - My RXprep book in preparation for the NAPLEX exam

Realizing - That sometimes "Ish" happens to make room for even better things.

Sewing - April "Sewyourview"challenge and dresses for my graduation.

Sporting - Lots of jumpsuits, I can't wait to make some for the summer.

Thinking - About my trip to Nigeria in December, I can't wait to eat yummy naija food and buy some cheap fabrics.

Watching - Nothing at the moment, don't have the time to watch TV but I can't wait to binge watch some Netflix shows when I get the chance.

Yearning - For a new sewing machine, I need to upgrade my 5 years old brother  machine. 

I am particularly excited about this new year cos I am finally going to be done with pharmacy school...Woot! Woot!! Ooooh it's has been a journey this past 3 years but I am so looking forward to graduating in about 6 weeks and starting my career as a Pharmacist...:)
