What camera do you use?
Canon EOS T5 with a 50mm lens.
Who takes you pictures?
I take most of my pictures myself with a tripod and remote control. Once in a while, a friend of mine takes it.
How do you edit your pictures?
I uses Picasa to edit and organize my pictures
How often do you blog?
I try to be consistent with my blogging, so I blog twice a week (Mondays & Thursdays).
Where are you from?
I am from Nigeria, the western part but I moved to the United States when I was 15 and now live in Maryland.
What do you do for a living?
I just graduated with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from Howard University. I still have plans to go to Pharmacy School but in the mean time, I currently work as a Pharmacy Technician.
How would you describe your style?
My style is bold, girly/feminine and conservative. I am such a girly girl that loves feminine pieces like skirts and dresses. I do wear pants but mostly during the winter and fall season. I am obsessed with bold colors and prints. I also like experimenting with trends, but putting my own spin on it.
Where do you shop?
I am an avid online shopper, I only go to stores a few times in a year. My favorite places for clothes are Forever 21, H&M, Macys, JcPenney, ASOS, and Zara (during sales). For shoes, my favorite stores are Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson, Shoemint, Justfab and Shoedazzle.
How did you learn how to sew?
I started learning how to sew in June 2014. I basically self-taught myself with lots of YouTube videos. I believe anyone can sew, all you need is patience.
What machine do you use and how do you cut your pieces?
I use a Brother XR1355 Computerized Sewing machine that I got for about $140 at Costso but it's on amazon HERE. I cut my pieces using sewing patterns like McCalls, Vogue, Butterick and Newlook. I just cut my size based on my measurements and follow the instruction that comes with the pattern.
Do you make clothes for others?
At the moment I don't sew for other people since I am still learning myself. But once I feel more confident in my abilities, then of course I would consider sewing for other people.
